I thought today would be an appropriate day to post about one of my absolute favorite illustrators, Edward Gorey. I have been a long time lover of his work.
I recently acquired a copy of this book, and it is fantastically odd. ↓

This is a page from Gorey's "The Listing Attic," and I'm already on the lookout for my own copy ↓

There is nothing creepier than a group of pale children ↓

And finally-- Not only am I a huge fan of the show, but Gorey's opening of PBS's Mystery! is just the greatest thing ever.
Have a Happy Friday 13th!
