Ack! So busy this week. Work has been busy and tonight we're having an event for my lit&arts project that is looking to be pretty big. Hopefully the storm has calmed tomorrow.

What Exactly is the Crutch?

Lately I've been feeling this odd struggle between wanting to retreat into my own little world, and wanting to get out and engage. Maybe I'm just needing to mix it up a little, put a new face forward, explore other aspects of my personality.

Don't get me wrong, I would never stop being myself (I'm not sure I'm capable of it), but it might be time to get a little playful. I'm just weary of certain perceptions, and of being so careful all of the time. I'm not really sure what this means--I might explore darker aspects of myself, or perhaps the light side of my personality will come through--I just need some self-expression.
